Trek from Medina to Jebel Zalagh : a wonderful experience
Zalagh mountain is well know in the city of Fez as it is easy to see from every Riad’s terrace and many places in the Medina and the new city of Fez. Hiking to its peak is a wonderful experience, while you will be walking through a beautiful countryside and meeting with its landscape, flowers, animals especially donkeys, and the people working in the fields. The Rocky pathways while climbing to reach the highest peak makes it an outstanding experience for mountain lovers. A walk in which you will enjoy an admirable panoramic view of the three sections of the city of Fez, the old Medina, the new Fez, and the new city.

Le centre takafes d'art et de l’innovation culturelle, le LaboratoireBx (Bordeaux-France) et Dar 7 Louyat lancent un projet de résidence et d’échange artistique dans le cadre d’un partenariat entre les deux résidences d’art au Maroc et en France.
Pour sa première édition, cette résidence participative invite l’artiste peintre et membre fondateur du Laboratoire Bx Laurent Chiffoleau.

Since the 9th Century, the old Fez medina has drawn scholars, imams and intellectuals to pass through its doors in hope of discovering what ancient knowledge the city holds.
La 14-ème édition du Festival international de la culture amazighe aura lieu du 11 au 13 mai prochain à Fès, à l’initiative conjointe de l’Association Fès-Saïs et du Centre Sud-Nord.
Organisée en partenariat avec la Région Fès-Meknès et la Fondation BMCE, cette manifestation culturelle s’inscrit dans le cadre de la promotion de la culture amazighe et populaire.
Cette édition, à laquelle prendra part une pléiade de chercheurs marocains et étrangers, abordera la signification historique, sociale et civilisationnelle du rôle de la culture dans le processus de démocratisation, comme il examinera les moyens à même de permettre de consolider le dialogue interculturel, la cohésion sociale et la culture démocratique en Afrique du Nord.

Le 1er Festival du théâtre et des arts du spectacle à Fès (à partir du 24 novembre)

La 1ère édition du festival «Maison de théâtre et des arts du spectacle» aura lieu du 24 au 26 novembre à Fès, à l’initiative de l’association Maison d’art.
Cette manifestation, qui rendra hommage à l’acteur marocain Mohamed Tsouli, vise à promouvoir la culture du théâtre et du spectacle auprès des jeunes de la région et contribuer à l’animation culturelle de la ville, indiquent les organisateurs. De nombreuses troupes théâtrales de pays arabes et européens participeront à cette première édition, qui porte le nom de Feu Mohamed Al Kaghat.
